We contract with independent Motor Carriers to deliver big and bulky goods into homes across North America. That includes furniture, appliances, fitness equipment, and other large items that require a professional, two-person delivery team. Most of our routes are dedicated, appointment-based, and residential. This is not spot freight or load board work. 

The majority of our contract opportunities are for 26-foot box trucks with liftgates. Two-person teams are required for most accounts. If you operate a fleet with those capabilities and have experience in residential or white glove delivery, we want to talk.

No. Riverstone Logistics contracts with independent Motor Carrier businesses. You operate as an independent contractor, running your own business and servicing routes under a Broker-Carrier Agreement. We do not employ Motor Carriers.

To be considered for a contract opportunity, you’ll need active MC/DOT/UCR authority, Insurance that meets our requirements, 26-foot box truck with a liftgate, and excellent customer service skills. All personnel who deliver on behalf of your business must pass a background check and drug screen that meets our clients’ requirements.

Once we’ve had a conversation and confirmed mutual interest, we’ll walk you through our compliance onboarding process. You’ll submit documentation through our carrier onboarding platform, including your business documents, SS4 (EIN #), COI, operating authority, a few other standard items. Our compliance team reviews everything and keeps things moving. We try to make the process straightforward.

Routes vary by location, but most involve multi-stop residential deliveries within a defined geography. You’ll know your schedule in advance and communicate with our local operations team for load-out times and daily coordination. White glove service is the standard, which means your team is responsible for in-home delivery, placement, and in some cases assembly and haul-away. 

Settlements are issued via ACH. New Motor Carrier partners typically have a two-week settlement hold at the start of the relationship. We’ll go over the specifics of the Schedule A, which outlines the rate structure for your contract, before you sign anything.
