Riverstone Logistics CFO Addison Moore Named Finalist for Charlotte Business Journal’s 2026 CFO of the Year
Riverstone Logistics is proud to share that Addison Moore, Chief Financial Officer, has been named a finalist for the Charlotte Business Journal’s 2026 CFO of the Year Awards.
Now in its 18th year, the program puts a spotlight on the region’s top financial executives, recognizing outstanding leadership, strategic vision, and financial expertise in navigating challenges and driving results.
Moore joined RLX in 2023 and leads financial strategy, capital stewardship, and long-term economic strength for the company, overseeing finance, accounting, FP&A, treasury, and financial controls. He also manages banking relationships, capital structure, audit and governance, and serves as the primary financial adviser to the CEO and ownership group.
Before RLX, Moore built his foundation at Deloitte, where he managed and executed financial statement audits for public and private companies with multibillion-dollar revenue across industries, including work in M&A, IPO preparation, and internal controls. He holds a Master of Accountancy and a B.S. in Accounting from Appalachian State University.
Over the past year, Moore built an investment framework that requires the company to quantify expected returns before committing capital and track results on a recurring basis. That discipline has strengthened RLX’s free cash flow, which he calls the truest measure of financial health for an asset-light logistics business.
“Addison brings a rare combination of financial rigor and operational instinct to this team. He has helped us grow with discipline, not just speed, and this recognition from CBJ is well earned,” said Charlie Workmon, Chief Executive Officer, Riverstone Logistics.
Congratulations to Addison and to all of this year’s finalists across the Charlotte region.
