Riverstone Logistics Helps Deliver Hope to Texas Families After Historic Flooding

When historic flooding devastated parts of Central Texas, Riverstone Logistics (RLX) partnered with Ashley Furniture and Samaritan’s Purse to help families begin rebuilding their homes and lives.

When historic flooding devastated parts of Central Texas, Riverstone Logistics (RLX) partnered with Ashley Furniture and Samaritan’s Purse to help families begin rebuilding their homes and lives.

On July 5, 2025, severe flooding swept through communities including San Angelo and Kerrville, Texas, after some areas received nearly 15 inches of rain in a single day. For a region that typically averages around 20 inches of rainfall annually, the storm created catastrophic damage for hundreds of families.

In response, Samaritan’s Purse quickly mobilized disaster relief operations across the affected communities, helping families begin the long road to recovery through cleanup, construction, and restoration efforts.

Through a collaborative effort between Ashley Furniture, Samaritan’s Purse, and Riverstone Logistics, RLX delivered one of the first furniture shipments to a flood survivor rebuilding her home.

Working alongside dedicated carrier partners, the RLX team helped bring comfort and stability back into a home deeply impacted by disaster. While recovery efforts across San Angelo and Kerrville are expected to continue for many months, the partnership demonstrates how logistics can play a critical role in disaster response and community restoration.

At RLX, moments like these reinforce the company’s purpose: to use God-given opportunities to love neighbors, serve communities, and improve the logistics industry through meaningful partnerships and action.
